On the wooded banks of Valjoly lake, Les Hauts de Valjoly enjoys a peaceful country setting.

The development comprises 180 accommodations, made up of semi-detached houses, or hamlets of wooden-framed semi-detached houses.

Each one has been lovingly designed and comprises a lounge with wood burning stove (in 6-8 people accommodations only), kitchen equipped with hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, terrace with garden furniture and satellite TV*.

On site you also have access to a reception, laundry*, outdoor parking, bike parking and play area. (*supplement applies).

We also offer our guests, free of charge:
- access to the Aquatica water park,
- 1 entry to the aquarium,

- 1 boat trip -

The location

On the banks of northern France’s largest lake, and surrounded by woods, Valjoly is a haven of peace and quiet.

Located in the l'Avesnois natural park, halfway between Lille and Brussels, there are plenty of activities to enjoy in the beautiful surrounding countryside, including kayaking, mountain biking and walking.

Valjoly itself, meanwhile, is home to the Aquatica water park complete with water slides, and even a relaxation area for those who require a bit more pampering.

With so much on offer, Valjoly makes a perfect destiantion whether you holiday with friends or family.

Local attractions:

• The towns of Avesnes sur Helpe, Lille (120km) and Brussels (100km). The regions of Thierache, Ardennes, Hainaut, the vallee de l’Avesnois.
• The Zoo de Maubeuge; La Salmagne aerodrome; the Ecomusee de la region Fourmies Trelon museums; the Musee du Verre glass museum; the Musee Matisse; the aquarium; the roman remains and archaeological site at Bavay; the Paradisio animal park (Belgium, 75 km); the Walibi theme park (Belgium, 92 km).
• Activities include: walking; mountain biking; windsurfing, catamarans, sailing, canoeing and kayaking, boat trips, horse riding, mini golf, archery, trampolining and skating.
