You will have the choice beetween staying only in Grandes rousses
or exploring the Grandes Alpes with the Grande Galaxie pass.
What is Grandes
Alpes?
The ski areas of Grandes Rousses (including Alpe d’Huez, Vaujany, Oz-en-Oisans,
Auris-en-Oisans and Villard-Reculas) and 2 Alpes (connected to La Grave)
are now accessible with the same pass (6 days minimum). Each resort
offers vacationers a 2-day opportunity to discover their ski area.
On your holiday
time, you can thus enjoy the Pic Blanc exceptional landscape (1/5 of
French territory), as well as the scenery from Dome de la Lauze over
Pic Bayle, Meije and Barre
des Ecrins. On Wednesday and Thursday, shuttle bus service Alpe d’Huez.
Helicopters also service between Alpe d’Huez and 2 Alpes (inquiries
at SAF Levage).

Visalp pass is a multiactivity pass, which entitles you to ski
throughout the Grandes Rousses ski area, and provides you the following
activities
free of charge:
• cross-country skiing
• night-time skiing
• ice skating
• 2 heated swimming pools (indoor and open-air)
• activities available at the Sports and Convention
• Huez and Oisans Museum, etc.

SKI AT REDUCED PRICES
• Groups: 20 people, if ordered in advance.
• Children: over 5/under 16 years old.
• Senior: over 60.
• Families: entitled to a reduction of 50% on the 4th and subsequent
passes purchased. Eligibility conditions: you must purchase at least
4 Visalp downhill skiing holiday passes of the same duration (minimum
5 days) and for the same period, not including free passes (for under
5’s and over 72’s). All must be for members of the same family: parents
+ children under 20. Proof must be provided (family record book, social
security book, passports). The 50% reduction applies to the highest
price.
• Regular visitors: on presentation of your 05/06 Visalp winter pass
(5 days minimum) including photo, you will be entitled to a discount
of 5%. This reduction does not apply to the half-price family pass
or season passes.
SKI “A LA CARTE”
Avoid the queues and make life easy for yourself with the 1-day and
10-day cards: magnetic cards containing respectively 1 and 10 adult
lift pass obtainable at any time throughout the season.

Walking
With the winter walking pass, access to 30 km of waymarked
and groomed footpath provided with lots of benches. Use the
cable car runs to explore the highlights of the Grandes Rousses
massif: Pic Blanc, gorges de Sarenne, lac Besson, Oz-en-Oisans,
Vaujany, etc. And meet up with your skiing friends in a different
mountain restaurant every day.

Group skiing
We offer regular off-piste trips following one of the resort’s
classic routes, introducing another dimension to your skiing.
Freeriding: ski and snowboard
Alpe d’Huez is in the heart of the Grandes Rousses ski area and has
a large number of long ski routes. You can be sure of some off-the-beaten-track
skiing in quiet location!
Ski the resorts
Les 2 Alpes, La Grave, Serre-Chevalier: all these resorts have a huge
number of outstanding ski routes. Come and explore them with us!
Helicopter pick up
There are a number of landing areas enabling you to return from inaccessible
valley bottoms and opening up a skiing playground as vast as it is
wild.
Long-distance skiing
From Huez to Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves (2 days), to Chamonix (4 days) or
to Tarentaise: days of phenomenal skiing, with a maximum of one hour
a day walking.
Heliskiing in Italy
This is an outstanding place for off-piste skiing. Our Italian friends
still use a helicopter landing area in a stunning setting, the Val
Grisenche, for a breathtaking cocktail of heliskiing.

NIGHT SKIING
The TPS Eutelsat Signal Slalom Stadium is an over 950 m long piste,
with a vertical drop of 250m. Its lighting is as powerful as the floodlights
of the Stade de France in Paris: you ski at night-time like in broad
daylight. With 3 parallel
ski tows, you can really make the most of your ski pass.This is also
the venue for all kinds of activities, sporting events and international
competitions. Open Tuesday, Thursday (times available from the points

The church of Notre-Dame des Neiges, inaugurated on 6 December 1969,
is notable for its architecture, its organ in the shape of an outstretched
hand and its 13 stained-glass windows. These are the work of the
plastic artist Arcabas. Open daily from 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Guided
tours organised by the museum. On Tuesdays at 5.30 p.m.

Weekly classical music concert in the church Notre-Dame des Neiges
on Thursdays at 6.15 p.m. (except Maundy Thursday, 8.30 p.m.). Free
